Job description

Global Organisation is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their business on a temporary contract. The Finance Business Partner will support month end, quarterly & rolling forecasts.

Key duties of the Finance Business Partner include:

  • Partner with the VP of Sales and their team to ensure revenue and costs are accurately recorded and forecast for the network
  • Provide insightful, KPI focused monthly reporting to aid in commercial decision making
  • Review weekly performance and understand fluctuations in revenue against forecast and prior year
  • Challenge all forecasts and budgets to ensure all variances and drivers are fully understood
  • Provide timely and accurate input to the FP&A Manager and Business Controller for forecasts/budgets and month end respectively to ensure timely deliverables to Group and the UK business
  • Finance lead on review of leases and monitoring of fixed and variable
  • Forecasting and monitoring of Capex
  • Accurate input into long term strategic forecasts
  • Adhoc analysis Head Office Costs
  • Forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring all head office operational costs
  • Working closely with the business to fully understand fluctuations from forecast and prior year * Finance lead on rental review and any decisions affecting HO costs with regards to long term forecasting
  • Review of invoices and prepare month end journals
  • Simplify, streamline, and standardise processes where possible
  • Additional finance related tasks and projects as required

Requirements for the Finance Business Partner include:

  • Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Strong professional communication and writing skills
  • Confident working across all departments with multiple stakeholders
  • Commercially and business minded
  • Demonstrable experience of working as a business partner and influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate financial reports with non-finance employees
  • Able to gain trust and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work to strict and short deadlines
