An exciting role for Finance Manager has become available in a growing, US listed company based in Mayfair. Despite being listed, they are a small, close-knit team so this role offers a lot of autonomy and reports directly to the CFO. As such you will need to be a qualified accountant with a strong, independent work ethic and have a well-rounded accounting skillset. Also, you will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate well with people at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial accounts (IFRS)
• The preparation of monthly management accounts and subsequent analysis.
• Assist with annual forecasting duties.
• Ensure balance sheets integrity.
• Managing the reconciliation and journal postings for month end.
• Assist with the interim and annual audit process.
• Liaise with external auditors.
• Continually review and improve processes.
• Be involved in the company transition project from IFRS to US GAAP.
• All other duties in support of the business's continued growth, and as directed by the CFO.

Skills/Experience

• You will need to be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA eqv.)
• Must have exposure to IFRS, US GAAP is also preferable.
• Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
• Working knowledge of SEC reporting is beneficial.
• Critical thinker and problem solver.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
