We have exciting new opportunity based in the city as a Financial Accountant within a growing Financial Services organisation available. The purpose of the role is to strengthen the finance team and to support improvements in business processes. Ideally you will be ACA or ACCA qualified and have come from a Financial Services background. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a busy and evolving environment.
Responsibilities

• Compile monthly statutory accounts
• Assist with monthly management accounts packs
• Post monthly tax journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Calculate VAT returns
• Tax compliance
• Tax analysis reports
• Develop and maintain finance policies and procedures
• Compile and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Work with external auditors on preparation of financial statements
• Liaise with wider finance team to ensure accurate reporting

Skills

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Qualified accountant
• 3 years+ experience
