A fantastic opportunity has opened up within a leading Media firm in London for a Financial Accountant. The ideal candidate will be used to working within a large team and will be responsible for managing the Assistant Accountants.

Main Duties

• Working with the financial accounting team on production of annual and quarterly financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS
• Oversee cash flow monitoring and forecasting and ensure effective treasury management is maintained at all times
• Lead the year end audit preparation
• Liaise and communicate effectively across Finance and other departments
• Oversee the accurate and timely documentation of financial procedures and processes
• Miscellaneous analysis when required
• Balance sheet reconciliations

Skills/Attributes Required

• Knowledge of IFRS
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
• Analytical skills
• Must have experience within a similar role
• Strong excel and system skills
