Financial Accountant

The Company

This market-leading Property Group requires a Financial Accountant to perform end to end month-end, year-end and balance sheet reconciliations.

The Role: Reporting to the Finance Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for preparing all financial statements and completing all month-end duties and ensuring compliance with internal & external financial regulations. You will help to drive change, improve processes and increase efficiency. There will also be a commercial element with this role with business partnering, stakeholder engagement, cash flow analysis and forecasting. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of year end reports
• Month and year end general ledger reconciliations
• Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Ability to lead process improvement initiatives
• Review Balance Sheet accounts for accuracy & consistency

Qualifications / Previous experience

• ACA/CA qualified
• Proven Financial reporting / Management reporting experience
• Enthusiastic and motivated to improve processes
• Previous exposure to system implementations/improvements advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
