Our client, a leading international bank in the city of London, are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role requires duties including preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial report. You must be bilingual with Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports
• Preparation of monthly domestic system important financial institution reports to regulators
• Work closely with the external auditors by preparing the quarterly and semi-annual information pack
• Responsible for the quarterly intercompany transaction reporting
• Assist in the preparation of performance assessment analysis report on quarterly basis
• Assist in the automation of the reports within financial control and monitoring the progress
• Responsible for the annual tax return information for Branch as per Parent Bank's requirement
• Assist in the maintenance of accounts related standing data of FOVA and its sub-systems
• Ad-hoc finance work to support the wider team

Requirements

• Part qualified/Qualified ACCA/ACA
• Degree level educated
• A background working in an accountancy role within banking - preferred
• Bilingual Mandarin and English - essential
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Highly credible individual with intellectual ability and a hands-on approach
• Self-starter with problem solving capabilities
• Able to learn and understand the objectives and priorities of the business
