About the role

An opportunity has arisen to work for a leading multi-national organisation. Owing to internal changes this organisation is seeking a commercially astute finance professional to work closely with Operations.

The responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will gain exposure to end to end finance. Your main duties will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accurals and prepayments
• Consolidation reporting and preparation of additional quarterly disclosures
• Preparation of management reporting
• Support year end audit
• Support statutory accounts preparation
• Support VAT/tax return preparation
• Processing accounts payable and general ledger transactions

The successful applicant must:

• Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• SAP systems experience
• Understanding of basic accounting principles (Double entry bookkeeping knowledge)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good team player
• Positive can-do attitude
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet tight deadlines;
• MS Office with Advanced Excel skills
