KennedyPearce are working with a leading entertainment media brand based in West London hiring a Financial Accountant for a 4 month role. This role could extend and reports into a Financial Controller. This role will be mainly office based, 3/4 days per week. The office is collaborative and offers a brilliant work place.

The role:

• Documenting the finance processes within group as the team prepares for the yearly statutory audit.
• While documenting the finance processes to test controls that are in place e.g. electronic, segregation of duty, to determine how improvements can be made.
• Support the UK statutory audits to ensure that the audits are completed by end of May 2024
• Review internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Audit experience either being audited or auditing within a UK based company.
• AAT qualified or partially ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong fundamental understanding of double entry accounting.
• Confident user of excel.
