Job description

Group Financial Accountant

London Leisure & Hospitality Newly Qualified (ACA/ACCA)
Up to £60,000 + 15% bonus

A fast‑growing leisure business in London is looking to hire a Group Financial Accountant, the ideal first move for a newly qualified accountant stepping out of practice and into a dynamic, commercially minded environment.

This is a chance to join a brand that's expanding, investing, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of. You'll work closely with a high‑calibre finance team, gain exposure to senior leadership, and take ownership of core group reporting processes while also getting involved in projects as the business continues to scale.

The Role

You'll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting across the group, supporting both statutory and management reporting cycles. Alongside this, you'll help strengthen controls, improve processes, and support the wider finance team as the business grows.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing consolidated monthly accounts and supporting group reporting packs
  • Leading on statutory accounts preparation and managing the audit process
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting
  • Maintaining and improving financial controls across the group
  • Assisting with balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
  • Supporting the implementation of new systems, processes, and reporting improvements
  • Getting involved in ad‑hoc projects linked to growth, new sites, and operational performance

About You

This role is designed for someone making their first move out of practice, bringing strong technical grounding and a desire to apply it in a fast‑paced, commercial setting.

You'll likely be:

  • Newly qualified ACA/ACCA (or exam‑qualified) from a top‑tier or mid‑tier practice
  • Experienced in audit, accounts prep, or similar technical areas
  • Confident working with complex financial information and producing high‑quality outputs
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across the business
  • Keen to learn, curious about how a business operates, and ready to take ownership
  • Interested in the leisure/hospitality/consumer space and the pace that comes with it

Why Join?

  • Salary up to £60,000 plus 15% bonus
  • A growing, well‑backed leisure brand with exciting expansion plans
  • A supportive, ambitious finance team with strong mentorship
  • Real ownership from day one
  • Exposure to senior leadership and commercial decision‑making
  • A fun, collaborative culture with a genuine passion for the product and customer experience
  • Clear progression opportunities as the group continues to scale
