Due to a large scale restructure a global trading business are searching for an experienced and ambitious Financial Controller to join their growing Central London team.

The restructure means this will sit in a number 2 role overseeing a Business Line section of their portfolio providing a range of accounting services and overseeing a growing team.

Duties include:

Compliance & Reporting

• AR/AP/GL transaction processing
• Monthly and quarterly reporting to HQ
• Reviewing and appraising
  • Group Reporting
  • Balance sheet recs
  • FX position reporting
  • Management reporting

People Management

• Line management of 3 people
• Organising and conducting regular team meetings for planning and sharing information
• Appraisals and performance reviews

Financial Statements

• Co-ordinate preparation of financial statements for UK entities
• Co-ordinate audit for UK entities and oversee handling of audit queries
• Continual monitoring of IFRS and UK GAAP changes and impacts on business
• Providing technical advice and solutions to the business

The ideal candidate will be:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5 years PQE
• Demonstrable team management experience
• Track record of driving process improvement
• Strong communicator
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Able to meet tight deadlines

A salary of up to £75,000 plus £6,000 car allowance is on offer amongst a number of other benefits.
