My client, a leading data analytics business is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join their team on a 12 month contract, reporting to the UK Controller, with key responsibilities for reporting; maintaining a framework of robust and efficient control processes. The role will work closely with the Managing Director and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

· Preparation of Quarterly Financial Reports

· Oversee / Review of general ledger and all entries and account reconciliations in accordance with the group accounting policy

· Variance analysis and forecasting

· Preparing the actuals vs budget and forecast

· Preparation of Quarterly Manager's Reports

· Manage all aspects of accounting operations including General Ledger, P2P, O2C, Credit Control, etc

· Quarterly distribution calculations

· Annual dividend calculations

· Preparation of Quarterly Loan Reporting and calculations, including forecasting.

· Ownership for period end Group reporting processes

· Intercompany reconciliations

· Reporting adjustments

· Closing procedures and analytical reviews

· Take ownership of period end closing procedures for leasing revenue and leasing capital expenditure

· Liaising with relevant stakeholders to provide detailed variance analysis

· Treasury transactions including journal entries and associated balance sheet reconciliations.

· Assist with the 5year Business Plan including all associated financial reporting and analysis

· Preparation of statutory year-end financial statements

· Conduct the management of annual group and statutory audit processes

WHO YOU ARE

· Qualified accountant - Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA

· Experience in ownership of full period end closing processes and reporting

· Strong communication skills

· Strong business partnering skills

· Evidence of strong financial skills

· Detailed / thorough knowledge of Financial Accounting, FP&A and Net Working Capital management

· Ability to Business partner across all divisions

· Understanding of revenue and cost drivers; resource allocation and utilisation drivers

· Accountable, delivers on promises and follows through on commitments even in challenging circumstances

· Ability to concisely and clearly present information to financial and non-financial people
