As a Financial Controller, you will be a valued person proactively driving and owning financial workstreams. Reporting to the CFO and managing a team of 3 this role really is a perfect blend of FP&A and reporting within a fast-growing tech industry.
The Financial Controller role:
Reporting (50%):
Manage a team of 3 Accountants and have oversight of financial accounting and financial operations including treasury:
Making sure the statutory annual accounts for the group and companies are correct (IFRS and FRS102)
Management of audit and preparation
Board reports and management reporting
Tax reporting and compliances
Commercial (50%):
Finance business partner with the Group's commercial teams
Manage sales, revenue and productivity forecast process
Develop and collate internal management reports for account teams analysing sales pipeline, revenue, income statements
Manage regular meetings to review, interrogate, record and follow up on agreed actions
Model forecast utilisation and capacity drivers and provide variance analysis of actuals compared with budget and forecast
Provide analysis to facilitate demand vs supply side revenue and capacity management
The ideal candidate:
● Qualified ACA/ ACCA from an audit firm with a strong understanding of IFRS
● At least 3 years' experience in a commercial FP&A role or a similar Financial Controller role
● Management of a small team
● Experience working in a listed business
