KennedyPearce are hiring a Financial Controller for an independent production group headquartered in London (hybrid working). This company has a £50million turnover and the group consists of 7 key brands. We are looking to speak with Hands-on Financial Controllers from an auditing background with management experience. The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment plus have strong influencing and leadership skills. This person will manage a team of 5.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Monthly reporting, Audit, Tax and Payroll

• EBITDA summary
• Review consolidation
• Detailed review of all cashflows
• Ops meeting pack
• Compliance certificate and send to Barclays
• Annual reporting
• Consolidation including consolidated cashflow
• Stats review
• Cross-border UK-US, including intercompany dividends
• Payroll: Ad hoc queries throughout the month
• Treasury and banking: Run balances and foreign exchange

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, ideally with previous relevant industry experience within media or TV preferred- Upto 3 years PQE
• Some experience of managing, motivating and developing teams - including performance management and appraisals
• Demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines and managing conflicting demands on time, while still delivering accurate results
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
