A leading fin tech business is recruiting for a Financial Modeler. You will report to the CFO.

As a Financial Modeler you will be responsible for:

  • Reporting to CFO
  • Generate, improve and iterate on financial forecasts/projections to support management in capital raising and cash management
  • Build models to support not only forecasts, but considering credit risk and capital structuring considerations (equity and debt components)
  • Create scenarios and options for the introduction of new product lines/entry into new territories
  • Build sensitivity analysis
  • Assist in running capitalization table scenarios

Experience necessary:

  • ACA/CA or CFA qualification preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have relevant previous experience in a FinTech Startup
  • Advanced excel skills, VBA and/or SQL, ability to report on large set of data, strong financial modelling experience essential
  • Must have experience building financial models from scratch using industry best practice
  • Experience modelling forecasts/projections, building on a wide range of assumptions/inputs
  • Experience in modelling debt and other capital structure elements using a range of financial instruments (equity, convertibles, bespoke and standard credit facilities)

This role will look up to pay up to £70,000 as well as offering a competitive benefits package plus generous bonus's.
