Job description

Our client, a Wealth Management company based in the West End are looking to hire a Financial Planning Administrator to join a newly created department.

Main responsibilities will include;

  • Acting as the point of contact between advisers, clients and third-party product providers
  • Building strong relationships with clients
  • Organising client meetings
  • Support and assistance for advisers
  • Establishing and maintaining electronic client files
  • Submitting letters of authority, obtaining information from providers and maintaining accurate records
  • Preparing valuations, reports and other material for client meetings
  • Processing new business applications and tracking business to completion
  • Producing client invoices and recording fees
  • General correspondence and administration
  • Dealing with a variety of client queries
  • Such other tasks and projects as may reasonably be required

To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience/skills;

  • 2 Years' experience in a Financial Planning or IFA business
  • An understanding of the Financial Planning process
  • Experience dealing with a variety of life, pension and investment products and providers
  • Experience using Financial Planning software and CRM systems, preferably Intelliflo
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Clear and accurate spoken and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
