My Client a leading Infrastructure Fund Manager business are looking for a Fund Accountant to join their Funds team. The role will onboard remotely as a result of Covid 19 but their head office is based in City of London.

Reporting to the CFO the Fund Accountant will be responsible for:

• Responsible for statutory accounts and liaison with auditors
• Quarterly Management Accounts
• Contribution to Advisory Committee, Board Reports, Stakeholder reports, Internal Management Reports, Risk Management Function
• Contribution to Investment Papers
• Management Loans, Calculations, Statements, Collection interest
• Receive, review, analyse and report on financial information deliverable under the investment agreements and shareholder agreements
• Responsible for the full finance function from data entry, reconciliations, journals, VAT returns, working papers to final TBs
• Fund specific ad hoc reports - schedules of investments, Commitments, availability of commitments, Fund cash summaries
• Drawdowns from Investors
• Detailed document retention to comply with and be ready for non-financial audits of the Funds

Candidate requirements:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with 2 years post qualified experience
• Experience preparing both Management and Financial Accounts
• Hands on attitude
• Strong use of initiative
• Attention to detail/always striving for accuracy
