An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional graduate looking for their first step into accounting.

The role sits within a prestigious mid size investment management firm and will be working with the accounting, financial and management systems.

This is an entry level role in an industry-leading team, offering the opportunity for a committed candidate to develop a long-term career within a market leading organisation.

Responsibilities

• Sales ledger; calculation and accounting for fee income, including
  accruals, invoices, receipts and related adjustments
• Revenue analyses, including segmental and departmental
• Bank reconciliations
• Bank account management
• Month end analyses and journal postings; accruals, prepayments and
  other journals
• Purchase ledger support - supplier and expenses queries, processing
  and payment
• Assist in the production of statutory financial statements
• External audit support
• Maintenance of client billing data and payment details
• Attend meetings and present suggestions in writing/verbally
• Assist with accounting/financial tasks as and when required

Requirements

• Degree level educated preferably in Accounting and Finance (2:1 or above)
• A level educated (A*-C)
• Keen to complete ACCA/CIMA
• An interest in starting a career within Investment Management
• Enthusiastic and proactive
• Strong sense of accountability
• Good knowledge of accounting fundamentals (accruals, prepayments etc)
• Highly proficient with Excel (pivots, lookups, sumifs)
