Job description

lobal Organisation seeks a Group Reporting Accountant to join the business on a permanent basis. The Group Accountant would be a Qualified Accountant who has solid financial reporting and SAP experience.

Duties of the Group Reporting Accountant include:

  • Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations with quarterly review
  • Preparation of statutory accounts from trial balance to technical pro-forma
  • Annual audit process, work closely with onsite audit team to ensure procedural compliance. Involves preparation of relevant documents for review of year end balances
  • Reporting under IFRS
  • Production and posting of recurring monthly accrual journals
  • Month End variance analysis for key client budgets
  • Prepare month end reporting files from TB and reconcile to SAP
  • Participate in Month end review with senior management. Monthly review and commentary for specific client and customer P&L's
  • Documentation of month end reporting
  • Maintain overseas balance sheet totals
  • Completing tax packs
  • Processing Intangible assets to include reconciliation to balance sheet and adjustment from FRS102 to IRFS
  • Preparation of the UK P&L, balance sheet & cash flow
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts (Related to responsibilities e.g., corporation and deferred tax accounts)
  • Ad-hoc tasks, analysis, and specialist management reports as required to support the business and Accounts department team

Requirements for the Group Reporting Accountant include:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong attention to detail
  • SAP experience
  • Statutory accounts and IFRS experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
