Head of Client Documentation - £250-300 per day - Temp

Prestigious Private Bank based in the West End of London, are looking to recruit a Head of Client Documentation for a short term contract. Main responsibility will be to ensure the department provides an efficient and professional service to clients, account officers, internal and external contracts, other group offices and branches with regards to the daily duties of the 2 clerks under supervision. You'll also be responsible for co-ordinating all London Branch audit points and ensuring that points are closed within deadline or extended prior to deadline.

Other responsibilities will include;

  • Inputting all payment instructions
  • Processing of daily RBS clearing for cheques and direct debits
  • Production and preparation for mailing of daily, monthly, quarterly statements, portfolios and advices
  • Filing/scanning of all account documents, payment and general correspondence
  • Opening, update and closing of client's accounts
  • Verification of signing authorities and indemnities for all transactions over clients' accounts
  • Ordering and distribution of cash to clients and clients of other branches
  • The setting up and controlling of access by clients to the Bank's online account information retrieval system
  • Documentation and access to the Safe Deposit centre
  • Co-ordinate all Group and London Audit points and produce monthly reports

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following experience and skills;

  • Banking and Corporate Law including Money Laundering rules and regulations
  • Cashiering experience, sterling, foreign exchange
  • Precise, analytical and logical approach to tasks
  • Ability to deal with senior management, account officers and customers at all times
  • Working knowledge of Swift and Chaps systems
