Head of Financial Accounting

Join a transport leader! I am working with a large transport business based out in Twickenham who are looking for someone to head up their financial accounting function in Twickenham after a recent restructure. With ambitious plans to redevelop the finance function and a business looking to expand it's territory.

Duties of the role include:

• Manage the financial team to provide accurate financial records
• Ensuring financial governance and control for all aspects of the business under IFRS
• Managing AP and AR
• Liaise with the treasury team to plan and implement working capital targets
• Producing of statutory accounts
• Dealing with the auditors
• Leadership and development of the accounting team

The ideal applicant will be:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with 5 years PQE
• Experience in a financial controller role or similar
• Strong management skills
• Ability to communicate with non-finance colleagues
• Strong record of meeting tight deadlines
