Job description
My Client who are a Global Asset Management Firm are looking to hire a HR Assistant to join their team on a 12-month FTC.
The HR Associate will be responsible for the Administrative processes that underpin HR delivery in the HR team. A key aspect of the role will be acting as the primary point of contact for first line employee of all HR queries.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration
- Day to day execution of the on-boarding, internal transfer and leaver processes
- Running induction meetings with new joiners
- Acting as a first point of contact for new joiner queries
- Scheduling and conducting (where relevant) post placement and exit interviews
- Administrating the background checking process, reviewing and escalating background check issues with the Business Partners
- Assistance with regulatory administration in particular the Senior Manager & Certification Regime
- Monitor and manage the visa application and renewals process with support from the HR Business Partners
- Ensure day one right to work checks are conducted for all new joiners and the HR system is updated with visa end dates
- Provide administrative support to the Hr Business Partners for employee relocation cases
- Manage the probation process
- Arrange workstation assessments for employees when necessary and follow up on any occupational health concerns escalating to HC Business Partners as necessary
- Supporting the Business Partner team with maternity, paternity and shared parental processes
Candidate requirements:
Technical Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong experience of providing administrative and organisational HR support
- Experience of working in Financial Services is preferred
- Basic understanding of UK employment law
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential matters sensitively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to be clear and concise when passing on information
