Job description

Our client who are a growing Fintech firm are looking to hire a HR Business Partner which is a newly created position due to the growth of the business to support the Head of People.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as HR Business Partner:

  • Supporting the Head of People with the development and implementation of People strategies within a fast-moving scale up business
  • Driving initiatives to assist in improving the business, employee experience and ensuring operational excellence
  • Working closely with the People & Talent Administrator in all people related administration, creating efficiency and streamlined processes
  • Deliver and support people related content in the form of employee tools, training and support as required for the evolving needs of a rapidly growing business
  • Building key relationships and partnering with line managers to provide guidance on all day-to-day employee related matters
  • Managing any disciplinary or grievance processes, alongside the Head of People
  • Managing absence and sickness records, proactively highlighting and raising any matters of concern
  • Focus on data management and reporting by embedding key processes to assist in analysing data
  • Working alongside the Head of People to manage the benefits programme including the development of this to meet the growing needs of the business as well as ensuring the schemes are administered correctly
  • Support the administration of HRIS (BambooHR) and all employee life cycle matters relating to HR, ensuring these are timely and accurate and in adherence to company procedures

Ideal candidate:

  • CIPD qualified ideal
  • Previous HR/ People Advisor experience
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law
  • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced environment, ideally within fintech, start up scale up
