Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Stand-a-lone HR manager to support the growth of our growing client. As HR Manager you will be the go-to person for people related matters with a rich mix and variation in the scope of the role. As a fast-growing SME, our client takes a hands-on approach with everything they do, and the right candidate will bring passion and professionalism to a wide-ranging role with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude.
Duties as Stand-a-lone HR Manager:
Talent Acquisition
- Work with hiring managers to scope roles and find the right candidates
 - Lead creativity around the process of finding best talent in the market
 - Be the key contact for recruitment agencies
 - Support the interview process and onboarding of successful candidates
 - Managing the Academy through the business
 
HR
- Bring a HR perspective and support to the management team
 - Strategic HR thinking
 - Support and coach line managers
 - Drive a culture of personal development
 - Own the learning and development agenda for the business
 - Support the business with HR compliance
 - Provide support and input through the annual appraisal, calibration and remuneration planning.
 - Continually improve and administer the employment contract and employee handbooks, policies and producers
 - Responsible for all HR administration including the management of the HR systems
 
Engagement
- Proactively lead the engagement plan for the business
 - Keep up to date with best practice and bring new ideas to the business
 - Be the custodian of the annual employee engagement survey
 - Ad hoc support and involvement with events for colleagues
