Job description
Our client, an FCA regulated investment firm and multi-family office are looking to recruit an additional Analyst, to join their expanding London office. The position is a mixture of Middle Office and Back Office functions to support both Investment and Family Office teams.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Main responsibilities of the position will include;
Investment Team Support
- Subscription/ New Investment process
- Portfolio Valuation - maintain and track the completion of new investment rounds which alter valuations; prepare the Quarterly Portfolio Valuation; record Fund Values
- Portfolio Analysis - complete one-off analysis projects under supervision and direction of the investment team
- Maintain the Client Portal
- Record all contacts and third party engagement (Contact Management)
- Track engagement with portfolio companies and potential targets (Investment Management System)
- Maintain Document Registry and Notes Database
- Reconciliations, FX Monitoring and Profit & Loss
- NAVs and Performance calculations
- Data collection and monitoring (Portfolio Management System)
- Subscriptions and Redemptions process
- Trade Execution support
- Transaction Reporting for trading activity
Family Office Support
- Subscriptions and Redemptions process (AML, KYC Checks)
- Client Portal support / new site setup (not super technical) and develop visual portal improvements
- Client Reporting - assist with Data Build process
To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must of the following experience and skills;
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role or operations working for an asset manager, hedge fund, fund administrator, private equity
- Highly numerate with financial awareness
- Degree educated
- Eye for detail and strong qualitative skills
- The candidate needs to ensure the smooth running of a number of systems, models and databases employed by the investment and family office team
- The ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Conscientious, resilient, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
