Job description

Independent Investment Management firm based in the West End of London, are looking to recruit an Executive to join their expanding Adviser Sales team/department. This is a fantastic opportunity, for someone with 1-2 years experience across sales, marketing and business administration who's looking for a new challenge or a 2021 graduate who's looking to get their foot in the door and work within Investment Management.

Responsibilities will include;

  • To provide high levels of office-based service and support to the Adviser Sales Team (AST) and existing and potential intermediary supporters
  • To work alongside the AST in dealing with intermediary requests and queries
  • To prepare and complete all presentations and proposals for intermediaries
  • Co-ordinate CRM based intermediary mailings with the adviser marketing team, ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Production of monthly and quarterly internal sales reports
  • Maintain the new business pipeline on behalf of the AST
  • Maintain the AST records. For example, in terms of proposals won and lost
  • To co-ordinate the completion of questionnaires, RFPs and other technical requirements for intermediaries
  • First point of contact for the sales and marketing functions of our strategic third party partners such as platforms and database providers
  • Coordinating the provision of marketing material and information to our strategic partners such as platforms and database providers
  • To ensure third party databases and other service provider websites contain up to date and accurate information
  • To work closely with the BDMs to ensure the CRM is accurate
  • To support the BDMs in day to day adviser prospecting activity and prospecting campaigns Financial Adviser Events:
  • To support the planning and implementing of intermediary events, including intermediary seminars and workshops, alongside the BDMs.
  • Ensure intermediary events are logged and run in line with FCA/GDPR procedures
  • Arrange for all promotional materials, banners and merchandise to be sent to the conferences in advance.

To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience, qualifications and skills;

  • Ideally a graduate with a professional marketing or investment management qualification Competencies
  • Must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade A-C or equivalent qualification Qualifications
  • Desired - 2 A' Levels grade A-D or equivalent qualification
  • Experience and/or education in areas such as sales, marketing, business administration
  • Experience with InDesign would be desirable
  • Extensive experience with Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Enjoy working in a fast sales environment
  • Be able to respond well to pressure
  • Be organised and methodical
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be proactive and able to take the initiative
