IT Procurement Specialist

Our client is looking for an IT Procurement Specialist to work within the IT Service Delivery and Compliance Team to oversees the daily and long-term strategic management of IT Hardware and Software

Responsibilities:

• Obtain pricing and place orders for all requirements requested via post-sales process and other internal stakeholders.
• Ownership of RFX for I.T. sub-categories including contract management post-award
• Provide procurement expertise to effectively build and maintain strong business relationships
• Work with suppliers and business owners to deliver savings and value improvement
• Conduct spend analysis and produce spend reports
• Research the market place to locate products, services and suppliers
• Appraise, ascertain and screen supplier capabilities to provide required products and services in a timely manner
• Manage suppliers and report on their performance
• Develop, implement and maintain procurement processes where required to support business requirements
• Manage stock levels including internal and external distribution and report on stock holding at requested intervals

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to draft tender specifications and evaluation criteria
• Proven ability to work under limited direction in a busy team
• Proven expertise in risk management as it relates to procurement and contract administration
