London based Bank who offer Hybrid working currently seek a Loan Syndications Officer with a proven

background in Loan syndication and distribution

As the Loan Syndications Officer you will assume and promote origination to distribution business, such as documentation, relationship management and correspondence with banks and financial institutions, handling administrative tasks by coordinating with relevant departments

JOB FUNCTION

Establishing loan syndication and distribution function within the department, executing its operations through close communication with front offices

Manage Agency, Portfolio Management & Administration, contributing loan agent, loan portfolio management, risk management, and other planning and administrative matters related to the origination to distribution business, to enable the department to exercise effective administration and support to credit front, and control and reporting of the branch's business activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To visit and call customers, develop and maintain relationship with financial institutions to promote loan distribution.
• To liaise, respond queries, and negotiate the conditions with the customer, external partners and the relevant departments in Head Office and to execute transactions.
• To report and record swiftly and properly the situation and progress to Head of Department, and consult with Head of Department about what to do next in a proper manner.
• To handle loan agent operations through close communication with front offices. This includes, but not limited to, asking the borrower to provide necessary information and circulate them to investors, responding questions from the borrower or investors, calculating drawdown amount to correspond to the investors, coordinating lender vote for waiver or amendment requests, discussing with external legal to draft amendment agreement during loan period.
• To compile relevant information and make reports of activities and portfolio to Head Office and Senior Management in a timely manner in relation to origination to distribution business and loan agent operations.
• To assist with the design, testing and implementation of frameworks and systems for portfolio/risk management, performance monitoring, and business planning in relation to origination to distribution business and loan agent operations.
• To support and assist the other staffs of the department to carry out the branch's and department's mission.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Proven Loan Syndication and distribution experience is essential

A strong aptitude for statistics

Agency, Portfolio Management & Administration experience
