My client is looking for Managment Accountant (Newly Qualified/Finalist) to join their Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant and lively environment reporting directly into the Financial Controller. As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for all financial processes, in addition to taking on other responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Complete monthly P&L and Balance Sheet Management Accounts
• Delivering timely and accurate Balance sheet recs
• Quarterly financial accounts
• Assist in the preparation of the annual financial statements
• Deliver weekly reporting and analysis of the departmental performance to the management team
• Play a key role in the implementation of a new SAP finance system
• Support FP&A in monthly forecasting and in annual budget preparation
• Prepare VAT returns for the Company, ensuring that VAT is dealt with appropriately across the group
• Produce bank recs and assist preparation of group cashflow forecast
• Support year end audit by preparing audit information and dealing directly with external auditors
• Ad hoc responsibilities as required

Key skills and experience

• Degree Educated (2:1 and above)
• Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience producing management and statutory accounts
• Excel Savvy
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Good knowledge of VAT and experience in producing VAT returns
