My client is a leading media company who are looking for an energetic, commercially minded Management Accountant to join their finance in the City. This is a great opportunity for someone who is actively seeking to complete their accountancy qualification for ACCA/CIMA. The successful candidates' main purpose of the role is to prepare the monthly management accounts

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly Management Accounts
• Calculation of accruals & prepayments of income
• Prepare and post journals
• Monthly & quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation, submission and payment of VAT return
• Prepare and submit quarterly packages
• Setting up new suppliers
• Setting up weekly and one-off payment runs
• Reconciling supplier accounts
• Raise monthly invoices & send to Clients
• Credit control
• Ad hic duties as required

Experience Needed

• Educated to degree level or equivalent (2:1 or above)
• Previous experience preparing management accounts
• Part Qualified - ACCA/CIMA
• Positive, can do attitude
• High attention to detail with a strong desire to learn
• Strong excel
