An SME business who are growing and therefore need to make a new hire as the number two in finance. They have a great culture and team environment. Staff are motivated, ambitious and upbeat. The business are in media and production and are based in the West End.

Role

You will report to the FD and oversee some of the work of the AP, AR and CC team. Your role entails:

• Ownership of business partnering and providing insightful information of a key business unit
• Production of Management accounts for numerous entities
• Financial statements under IFRS
• Manage the end to end budget and forecasting processes
• Production of monthly cost reporting and headcount reconciliations for two key business units
• Assist with the development of reporting and budget / forecast processes
• Carry out ad hoc financial analysis

The team work closely together and have excellent communication skills. It is also important that you are deadline orientated and demonstrate good time management skills.

Experience

The role will be an excellent step in your career if you are a Qualified Accountant from Practice (ACA) and/or Industry. You could be CIMA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and be looking for your next step up into a high growth business. You must be able to use initiative, be approachable and be keen to be business facing as well as detailed and number orientated.
