Global Organisations seeks a Management Accountant to join their business on a permanent basis. The Management Accountant would be responsible for several global subsidiaries.

Duties of the Management Accountant include:

• Preparation of financial statements and managing the relationship with external auditors
• Responsible for general ledger management

• Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts with bank statements
• Prepare monthly accounts for companies, following the IFRS principles

• Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany analysis
• Accruals and prepayments
• Update the fixed assets schedule and post depreciation/amortisation journals
• Accountancy support with business acquisitions
• Revenue recognition
• Review and approve invoices, expenses and ledgers
• Provide support on technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition, intangible
• Suggestions of improvements and controls
• Stay up to date with relevant accounting standards.
• Ad hoc reporting
  

Requirements for the Management Accountant include:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong Excel and ERP experience
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
