Financial Accountant

Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our Finance Team. We need someone who is detail focused, has an interest in technology and systems, and is a "go getter" who is able to own the role and get things done.

As a Financial accountant, you will perform all key functions of the finance process and work closely with our 3 off-shore accountants as well as the operations team. You will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities to include:

• Help with end of financial year accounts for 3 companies
• On-boarding of new starters
• Purchasing of office equipment for new starters
• Reviewing & reimbursing employee expenses
• Managing the company credit cards
• Signing new supplier set up forms and other forms as necessary
• Setting up / managing fixed asset register
• Collecting / chasing missing receipts
• An element of office management including organising of office events
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts with the support of PHP team
• CEO expenses/managing email account

Experience in:

Ability to use and operate Xero is essential. Ability to learn quickly the other systems below. Candidate must be interested in and able to use modern software systems and work with our engineering team to implement solutions:

• Xero - essential
• ACA/CA Qualification essential
• Previous experience in media/property/technology
• Strong excel -Essential
