My client is a leading Asset management firm based in the City looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Financial Accountant to join their fast paced Finance team.

Role responsibilities:

• Reviewing the financial statement before submission to the Senior directors
• Managing the relationship with the external auditors
• Overseeing the accounts payable processes;
• Preparing intercompany and bank reconciliations;
• Preparing journal entries to book in connection with the Group Accounting team (accruals etc.);
• Playing a lead role in the implementation of a new accounting system;
• Reviewing the VAT submission for the UK entities, prepared by the external tax advisor; and
• Liaising with the external accountancy practice regarding corporation tax.

Candidate requirements:

• Newly qualified 2017/2018 - ACA/CA/CAANZ
• Immediately available
• Tier 5 visa -accepted
• Strong communicator
• Able to hit the ground the running
