Job description

Our client, a Global Shipping and Transportation company are looking to hire a Payroll and Benefits Assistant Manager to join their team in London on a permanent and hybrid working basis. Reporting into the Reward manager you will assist in the management of performance, payroll and benefits activities.

Responsiblities as the Payroll and Benefits Assistant Manager:

  • Managing start to finish in House UK Payroll for circa 400 employees.
  • Working with their payroll provider to ensure accuracy and make sure deadlines are met.
  • Responsible for processing and reporting benefit changes (changes and leavers) and reviewing benefit invoices and premiums.
  • Prepare all data for the annual benefit renewal process, working with their benefit brokers to meet requirements.
  • First point of contact for all payroll and benefit related queries whilst managing the shared inbox.
  • Support Reward and Benefits Manager with Annual performance review, Annual budget preparation and Benefits renewals process.
  • Completion of quarterly pension audits.

Skills required as the Payroll and Benefits Assistant Manager:

  • Full CIPP Qualification preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • ADP Freedom experience is essential
  • Experience working in Payroll and Benefits for at least 5 years is preferred
  • Ability to work with confidential data and communicate in a clear and professional manner.
  • Able to keep up to date with UK Payroll and benefits legislation.
