Our Client, a Media and Hospitality Giant is looking to add a Project Accountant to their dynamic team based in central London. The very exciting 6 month contract role has been created to assist in the preparation and execution of the FY2018 Audit. As well as being instrumental in the financial systems integration from Microsoft GP onto SAP Business One.

What you will be doing:

• Prepare and review information for the annual P11D submission
• Perform reconciliations of income statement and balance sheets accounts for finalising 2018 financial reports and importing balances into the new accounting system, SAP Business One
• Prepare opening balances, customer/supplier lists and fixed asset register for the new SAP Business One accounting system
• Prepare information for tax computations to submit to external tax advisers
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing and reporting on proposed changes to software consultants
• Be the primary contact with external auditors and oversee the audit process, utilising Finance team members as and when needed
• Prepare information for audit requests before and during audit field work
• Prepare group consolidation and statutory accounts for 9 legal entities
• Oversee all data cleansing and migration onto the SAP Business One finance system (go - live in August)

Key skills and experience

• A technically gifted accountant, 2+ year PQE in a relevant role
• Ideally ACA/CA/CA ANZ qualified but CIMA/ACCA is also fine
• "hands-on" experience producing management and statutory accounts as well as managing financial processes - a must
• Strong Audit experience is a must
• Able to prepare and present financial reports to financial and non-financial audiences
• Well organised, strong attention to detail, tenacious, hits deadlines
• Experience in financial systems integration an advantage
• A problem solver who prides themselves on getting the job done to tight deadlines
• A team player - a must
• Experience in Microsoft Great Plains and SAP B1 an advantage
• Strong excel skills - a must
