This role has ownership for the timely and accurate delivery of the month end reporting. You will play an integral role alongside the FP&A and Commercial team in developing the annual budget and understanding the key drivers of the monthly variances.

This role will play an integral part within the Management Accounts team where success is driven from problem solving, communication, accounting knowledge and innovation.

The successful candidate will be Part Qualified and studying towards CIMA.

Responsibilities

• To deliver the 'end to end' month end process
• Business Partnering Commercial Finance & Operations teams
• To build key relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
• To understand and track the monthly risks and opportunities
• To own the month end balance sheet reconciliations
• To own the P&L distribution process for Operational teams
• To support the Head of MA and FD with ad hoc requests
• To identify process improvements and implement solutions
• To drive improved processes and reporting
• To support the FPA, commercial finance & MA team with Budget submissions

Requirements

• Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA)
• Strong technical ability ideally from an management accounts background
• Strong excel proficiency
• Experience with period end and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience with multi-site business preferable but not essential
• Coda & Cognos system experience preferable but not essential
• Experience with business partnering non-finance heads
• Experience in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets
• Ambitious self-starter who is assertive with good interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
• Strong team player
