As reward Specialist you will provide specialist reward advice and support in the design, development and implementation of the organisation's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures; ensuring compliance with applicable regulations to the business.

Reward Specialist Duties:

  • Review and research pay and benefits in line with appropriate market benchmarks for new and existing job roles. Ensure salary structures are maintained and reviewed annually
  • Evaluate and recommend a reward package to new job roles using market date research
  • Advise Managers and Directors on best practice, policy and legal implications of reward decisions in line with EMEA and Local policy and guidelines
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies and procedures and recommend revisions to compete with market trends
  • Lead the review and up-dating of Variable Pay Schemes for UK and Ireland working with Directors and Function Heads ensuring that these drive the business objectives and are in line with any Pan European guidelines. Take an active role in Pay Plan committees/working groups
  • Review & recommend changes for current sales reward programmes, liaising with central reward team to develop and understand sales rewards frameworks
  • Lead the Reward life cycle process, such as Pay review process and bonus calculations
  • Work with the European Reward Specialists to form a virtual Reward centre of excellence
  • Provide coaching and mentoring for other HR employees on reward issues

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Reward, industry benchmarking experience
  • Knowledge of job evaluation process
  • Significant experience in managing and designing bonus & commission schemes
  • Relationship management skills at all levels across the business
  • Excellent communication skills and organisation skills
