Senior Management Accountant

An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to deliver commercial, tender, costing and pricing analysis as wells as forecasting and budgeting for a global market leader.

Description

• Prepare financial reports and commentaries in regard to financial statements, trends and analysis
• Timely & accurate monthly accounting, budgeting, forecasting & reporting
• Supervising a team of employees
• Developing and managing financial systems and policies
• Occupancy Cost Forecasting on a regular basis
• Management of inquiries from both internal and external parties
• Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects
• Advising and creating and generating business strategies to generate shareholder value
• Work with all departments, the management team and internal stakeholders to help make financial decisions and drive performance improvement
• Develop financial models to facilitate and support the decision making process

Profile

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting (ACE/CA or CIMA qualified)
• Minimum 5 to 10 years work experience within or similar role
• Experience and thorough understanding of the manufacturing industry
• Experience in business planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
• Advanced skills in Excel, database and reporting tools
• Sound financial understanding of P & L, accounting systems and financial metrics
• Excellent communication / interpersonal skills and ability to provide operational information and results to stakeholders in the wider business
