Job description

Global Organisation seeks a permanent Tax Analyst to join their EMEA region. The Tax Analyst would support the international tax compliance and advisory functions, working across a broad range of projects covering multiple jurisdictions. The Tax Analyst will collaborate closely with colleagues across the global tax function. The successful candidate would require 5-6 years' experience in either practice or within a multinational organisation.

Duties of the Tax Analyst include:

  • Prepare and review corporate tax and related filings across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to prepare and review tax provisions for quarterly group reporting and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct tax research and provide advisory support on cross-border tax matters.
  • Assist with tax audits and liaise with tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Contribute to transfer pricing analysis and documentation to align with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with BEPS Pillar 2 implementation and reporting across relevant areas.
  • Support legal entity rationalization projects, working with external and internal finance stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in tax governance initiatives to enhance risk management and compliance frameworks such as SAO, CCO and Tax Strategy
  • Collaborate with tax colleagues worldwide, contributing to global tax strategies and initiatives.

Requirements for the Tax Analyst include:

  • Accounting/Tax qualification such as ACA, CA, CTA,
  • 5-6 years' experience in either practice or within a multinational organisation
  • Tax accounting experience under IFRS (and US GAAP a benefit)
  • Experience of UK/European tax legislation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of both a small local team and a global tax function.
  • Proficiency in tax software (such as One Source) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness to travel within territory, with occasional travel elsewhere in Europe and US for specific training.
