Job description

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Team assistant / Events administrator to work for this global healthcare membership body. Supporting the Business Unit Manager and working in a team of 4 administrators - yours will be a busy role in providing admin support to various projects and events and liaising with a range of staff, customer's, and members.

  • First point of contact for telephone / email
  • Book meeting rooms, ensuring catering and room set up is accurate
  • Liaise with associate consultants, assessors, and reviewers as necessary, book travel and accommodation
  • co-ordinated administrative support service to designated projects and events from planning through to completion and evaluation:
  • Ensure that actions are documented, and project updates are reported to the PM
  • Take minutes of meetings
  • Update and maintain project docs and filing system
  • Proofread, check and reformat docs as directed
  • Administer surveys
  • Ensuring correspondence, reports, meeting notes and any other documentation are produced to agreed timescales and quality standards
  • Process invoices, update and maintain spreadsheets with financial expenditure
  • Support and attend occasional conferences and events, which may involve occasional travel and overnight stays.
  • Act with diplomacy and discretion to always safeguard confidential and commercially sensitive information

Person Spec

  • Previous Admin experience is essential
  • Excellent written and communication skills to build strong relationships and provide an excellent customer service
  • Ability to take ownership of the administration of designated projects
  • Minute taking / action points skills
  • Good MS Office skills including maintaining and updating Excel Spreadsheets
  • Diary management and good organisational skills
  • Previous experience of working in event, would definitely be an advantage
  • Preferably you will have experience or an interest in the health sector
  • Previous experience of working in a membership organisation, would be desirable.

Duration: Temp - poss Perm

Hours: 37 hours per week Mon to Fri
Location: Central London

Day Rate: £94.60 plus hols

Perm salary £24,900
