Job description
A leading international Insurance company is looking for a senior technical accountant with a detailed technical understanding of IFRS17. This can be a purely remote role so you can be based anywhere in the UK and is also an urgent hire so you would need to be available at short notice.
Experience/Skills required:
- Extensive understanding of IFRS17 - details of the standard and practical issues
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Understanding of other relevant financial and regulatory reporting standards pertinent to the insurance sector
- Experience in dealing with actuarial teams
- Experience of working in the insurance industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Fully qualified accountant
