Our client is a fast-growing international logistics company based near Euston, known for its collaborative culture and strong growth trajectory. As the business continues to expand, they're looking for a motivated Billing Analyst to join their finance team. This is a hybrid role offering a mix of remote and office-based work.

Role Overview:
This role is key to ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, supporting financial analysis, and driving improvements in reporting and automation. You'll work closely with finance, IT, and operational teams to deliver high-quality billing data and insights.

Main Responsibilities:

Billing & Reporting:

• Prepare and deliver monthly billing reports for key customers using SQL and Tableau.
• Validate large datasets and resolve any discrepancies or data issues with IT and customers.
• Support the month-end close process with data checks, financial analysis, and activity reporting.
• Collaborate with the Management Accounting team to finalise billing outputs.

Commercial Support:

• Assist in forecasting volumes for customer discount models.
• Apply pricing adjustments (e.g. indexation) to billing files as needed.
• Support customer discussions around historical billing issues.
• Provide analysis for ad-hoc queries from Operations and other departments.

Process & System Improvements:

• Partner with IT to enhance internal reporting tools and dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate billing processes.
• Contribute to the development of new billing models and structures as the business evolves.
