Job description

A well-established retail company based in Hertfordshire are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for :

  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Trial balance and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Processing staff expenses and credit card transactions
  • Producing weekly payment batches
  • Managing credit control weekly & liaising with clients where required
  • Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
  • Completing daily bank reconciliations of incoming and outgoing transactions

The ideal candidate :

  • AAT qualified (Essential)
  • Xero experience (Preferred)
  • Dext experience (Preferred)
  • Excellent business communication skills
