KennedyPearce are working with a leading media company, who are seeking a hardworking individual who has a great attitude to work to join their team in the London. This is a great opportunity for someone who is part qualified (ACCA/CIMA) who are actively seeking to finish thier studies reporting directly into the Financial Controller.

Responsibilitites

• Produce and close monthly client statements and monthly VAT reports
• Reconcile client bank accounts in accordance with deadlines and procedures
• Review purchase orders raised on a regular basis
• Attend service charge accounting meetings with building teams to review accounts and assist with any queries
• Prepare quarterly service charge report
• Maintain set up funds
• Produce the year end accounts and issue the service charge packs within four months of the service charge year end
• Ensure correct VAT returns and payments to HMRC
• Assist in statutory accounts preparation
• Ad hocs tasks as requested

Requirements

• Degree educated (2:1 or above)
• Part qualified ACCA/CIMA
• 2 years experience in accounting
• Property accounting knowledge is desirable
• Excel savvy
• Team player
