Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available working as a Communications Manager working for an International Bank.

This is a Hybrid role with their office based in the City of London.

The purpose of the Communications Manager is to devise, execute and oversee and affective strategic communications programme across Europe. The role will require multi-tasking, problem solving and adapting whilst maintaining a strong, strategic, and holistic overview of all communication channels.

Responsibilities as a Communications Manager

  • Develop a communications strategy and plan.
  • Raise the European profile through internal and external communications.
  • Align with stakeholders to understand the vision and brand and distil this locally.
  • Support business heads with content creation requirements.
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage an external marketing and communications strategy and plan.
  • Mange media/public relation activities when required.
  • Develop and manage communication channels, including social media, to ensure the key messages are communicated effectively and consistently to a wide audience.
  • Create content, execute, and measure social media channels and engagement strategy.
  • Enhance internal brand awareness and alignment with the strategic objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth and long-term success through communication initiatives.
  • Support internal communications in terms of creation and distribution to elevate content, product launches, business announcements etc.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong internal and external communications experience
  • Collaborative nature, able to work with multiple departments in the company including sales, and key stakeholders.
  • Preferable experience in a similar role within Financial Services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • European Communications experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience around working with and creating marketing strategies.

This is a permanent role, paying up to £75,000 with good company benefits. A hybrid position based in the City of London
