Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available working as a Content Manager for a national Insurance company.

This is a Hybrid role of 2/3 days per week in their offices based in the City of London.

As Content Manager you will be responsible for managing the content and communications team and assist with the creation of media/materials for both offline and digital media. You will need to be well organised due to management of your own workload and management of the team, working with the wider marketing team, business stakeholders and marketing suppliers.

Responsibilities as Content Manager

  • Manage the Content and Communications process; from understanding the marketing strategy, producing content and communications, understanding requirements, and measuring performance statistics.
  • Create high quality online and offline marketing content and communications.
  • Assist in the creation of documents for internal use, such as reports, presentations, and tender documents.
  • Work closely with the Design, Digital Marketing and Sales teams to create engaging content.
  • Regularly update the company website and intranet content.
  • Work closely with external PR Consultants to manage the PR strategy.
  • Attend and lead weekly content meeting to monitor progress on projects and decide future actions.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong background of content and communications work both print and digital
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strategic thinker with ability to prioritise workloads
  • Basic HTML skills
  • Experience across the Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to work methodically and to tight deadlines.

This is a permanent role, paying up to £45,000 based on experience. A hybrid role of minimum 2 days in their office based in the City of London.
