This reputable government organisation is looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their team on a 3 month contract that may be extended.

Your new role
As Finance Analyst your responsibilities will involve a range of financial, accounting and budgetary activities, including:

• preparing annual financial statements and management reports
• analysing budget developments
• reporting and forecasting as required in line with accepted accounting standards
• advising the executive team on compliance with financial controls, budget protocols and reporting requirements, as well as analysing and reporting on complex financial information
• Co-ordination and reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
• Identify and provide recommendations and implement changes in financial systems and processes
• Collaborate and consult with key stakeholders to guide them in their financial planning, monitoring and reporting

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will be a Part Qualified Finance Analyst with experience in management reporting and complex budget management. Additionally, will be an effective communicator with strong presentation and writing skills and the ability to take on a range of ad hoc tasks.
