KennedyPearce are partnering with global media agency based in London who are hiring a Finance Assistant on a 6 month basis with potential to extend. This candidate is joining a diverse, fun company and are looking to hire a motivated candidate who is actively studying AAT/ACCA/ACA or CIMA. This position is hybrid working and based in Hammersmith.

The role:

• Month end journal postings e.g. prepayments and accruals for operations across UK and the rest of EMEA (2 other entities).
• Assist the Finance Manager in completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis, with the goal of owning the process in future.
• Posting of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain currency tables which reflect transactions in bank accounts.
• Aid the finance team in various ad-hoc financial projects

The candidate:

• Available at short notice (up to 2 weeks notice)
• AAT qualified or partially ACA/ACCA qualified is preferred.
• A strong fundamental understanding of double entry accounting is required.
• Confident in Excel
