My client is a Retail giant, they need an accountant on board to handle complex accounts and occasionally get involved in Corporate Finance related duties. Working with a large finance team, made up of some incredible minds, you will be working within a very large retail company and there is great progression available to you, should you be hungry enough for it.

Responsibiltis include:

• Production of statutory accounts for all UK and Europe entities, ensuring compliance with FRS 102, or IFRS as applicable
• Technical assistance in relation to new accounting standards (e.g. IFRS 16)
• Preparation of tax pack information
• Assistance with Corporate Finance projects, including restructuring and liquidations
• Accounts production system management and maintenance
• Other ad hoc projects relating to UK Group entities

The ideal person will be 0-2 years PQE, can be from practice or industry and will preferably have a passion for the retail sector. Prior experience within the sector is not essential.
