Our Client seeks a Financial Accountant to join the business on a Fixed Term Contract. The Financial Accountant would be a Qualified Accountant who has working knowledge of Corporation Tax.

Duties of the Financial Accountant include:

• Production of the annual accounts at interim and year-end
• Production of year-end corporation tax packs
• Liaising with external and internal auditors
• Work with the wider financial accounting team to continually drive process improvements and standards in financial control across the Group
• Prepare and submit company tax fillings
• Prepare tax accruals for company records and accounts
• Prepare tax computations
• Prepare monthly financial performance reports
• Provide technical accounting guidance for ad-hoc queries raised by the business
• Ad-hoc projects

Person Specification & Qualifications for the Financial Accountant:

You will ideally be professionally qualified ACCA/ACA with a strong background in Accountancy Numeracy and good communication skills are also key alongside a good eye for detail.

• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of relevant accounting and reporting standards
